I have felt the weight of this since October 7th 2023. Before any Israel response, such vile global hatred. I'm not Jewish, but I am very grieved with every development.
And the anti-Israel side was led by an Israeli (!) psychopath (karate instructor/"activist") named Miko Peled. This guy hates Jews more than Hamas does!
You have to be mentally disturbed to support a point of view that leads to the death of your own people. Same goes for Bernie Sanders, Noam Chomsky, Norman Finkelstein et al. Unfortunately the Jewish people have been burdened with sickos like this forever - people so subconsciously desperate to be accepted by the non-Jewish world that they will sacrifice their own.
Jewish Communists have passionately hated Israel at least since Israel transformed from a giant kibbutz of historical victims into a rich and powerful modern state (if not earlier)—embracing Communism is a way to try to shed your otherness and to renounce your own faith and people in the name of some sentimental universalist humanitarianism in the hope that you will seem "better" and "different" from those OTHER Jews, and spewing hatred toward the Jewish state is the popular modern way to do this, much like how joining the Communist Party was 100 years ago.
But there's no explaining men like Miko Peled or Norman Finkelstein except for mental illness. They really seem to have confused self-hatred with righteousness.
The world is in turmoil. Jews and Israel are now fulfilling their historic role of scapegoats for the ills of society. We are not and we were not the only group suffering persecution. Some of these minorities have now joined with the perpetrators of malice. Why? Maybe they believe the lies, maybe they are hoping to be part of the promised "Utopia". Even more puzzling is the inclusion of people of Jewish blood with the evil haters. I guess that they foolishly expect to be spared the fate of their brothers and sisters. These so-called Jews are the most odious piles of dreck. To those Jews (and Gentiles) that have been asleep or hypnotized by the fog, anti-Semitism, anti-Zion, anti-Israel hate did not disappear after Nazi Germany was happily defeated. The anti-Jew hate has always been with us. Sometimes it is barely visible, sometimes it is boldly (and violently) expressed. No place, no country is safe, even the Jewish homeland. The wise Jew is he/she who is prepared to deal with it. The wise Jew is the survivor, ready to battle intellectually and, yes, physically. It does no good to fret about the unfairness or to shed tears. The wise Jew is David, is the Maccabee. Stop feeling sorry about your possible fate. Fight with all your might, all your ability, all your fury. Accept that this is your only hope of survival. G-D will look over you with His Blessings.
Academia has always been anti semitic. Same goes for the media, Islam, black America, and the Left in general. Every time the Arab/Israeli conflict heats up, these same Jew haters start screaming about Zionism and occupation. The Middle East is a convenient cover for their hate. The difference now is social media. The hate is more organized and easy to see, but it is not new. Its all the same people, and Jews need to wake up to that fact
I just wonder if it is too late for Europe. How are we to deal with huge muslim populations and coward leaders? I believe that in America, the election of Trump will put an end to all this chaos and antisemite pervasive everywhere. Just for that reason, if I had been an american citizen, I would have voted for him.
Oct 7th and its aftermath has had a very profound impact on me. I am a dual citizen of both Canada and the US and considered myself a very patriotic American-Canadian. I do not feel the same patriotism as I did before. Yes, I put on my poppy a week before Remembrance Day as is my custom but it felt very very different. In my heart, I felt that the only real home a Jew has is Israel. I am old enuf to have marched for Civil Rights, Gay Rights and equality for women and now when we needed support these groups were nowhere to be found. There was always antisemtism and I grew up experiencing lots of it but that was different. It was coming from the extremities, from the outside. Now, it is not coming from the outside or the peripheral, it is coming from mainstream society. Academia, the business world, government officials, the media ... pretty much everywhere.
That is unfortunately the reality of the situation. I cannot thank enuf the seemingly small number of non-Jews who have voiced their disdain and have joined us in our fight. We are so small in number that we would be extinct if it werent for the help of non-Jews throughout our history.
I’m confounded by all of this. I’ve never understood anti semitism, and that’s not on an emotional level, it just seems irrational. That is what concerns me about academics promulgating it. It defies logic. I’ve noticed that when I try to have a reasonable debate with anyone who perpetuates the myth of genocide in Gaza it quickly devolves in to the worst kind of name calling. I have never ever encountered an intelligent argument to counter my defence of Israel. Not once . I can only conclude that it’s some kind of mass hysteria. However, you should take comfort from the fact that here in the U.K., outside of seats of learning and the pathetic marches, everyday people are more concerned with the root cause of a lot of the anti semitism, because it is having a huge impact on their lives. That is Islamism. I hope you draw comfort from that. The masses aren’t stupid, but bad things happen when good people do nothing. I hope this passes, but at 61, and not being Jewish, I will not stand by and see Jewish people genocided. I would fight. Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.
Not just Jews, but the whole of Western civilization is under threat from these new Nazis, aided and abetted as they are by their deluded supporters in the elite class.
Nazis, neo or otherwise, and why I will never understand why they are able to establish a following (the worst kind of mob).
The fallacy of ‘Non Sequitur’ (it does not follow..) is when there is not even the deceptively genuine appearance of a valid argument because there is an obvious lack of connection between the premises given and the conclusion drawn from them.
Last night I was asked by a pub owner to please take off my Star of David pendant so as not to provoke unnecessarily.
Just the latest one to say this, I know, but I naively thought I’d never see this in my lifetime. Day after day, it just keeps coming and it’s crushing to read - I can’t begin to imagine what it feels like for Jewish people. It’s like Victor Klemperer’s diaries playing out in real time.
For what little it’s worth, shalom and deepest best wishes from a very angry gentile.

Apologies for hijacking, but this is pretty disturbing:
Oxford Union votes in favour of motion that declares Israel an ‘apartheid state… responsible for genocide’

Wow. That's not hijacking. Fits with the original article too disturbingly
Miko is a 💩
wow u know that guy!?
he seems insane

Hundred per cent. ❤️
We all must turn back to God. He is the protector of Israel. He is the only answer. He’s waiting.
I am devastated by the resurgence of this Ancient hatred.
I pray for the day that the evil of Hamas and their ilk no longer exists.
Stay strong.

My response: ‘Aren't you ashamed of yourself?’

It's almost like diversity isn't our strength
Muslims have killed 2.5 Million Black Christians in Sudan since 1989.
Muslims have killed 6 Million Black Africans in the Democratic Republic of the Congo since 1996
