At the same time, long live the grown ups in the Islamic world, and looking live the Abraham Accords. Everyone should freeze out the dangerous nutters, especially the "liberal" west, who insist one some warped moral equivalent, and in putting their citizens at risk.
The other day, I saw a couple of Hasidic Jewish gents. I wanted to walk up to them to share their hands, to let them know that not everyone in the UK is an antisemite. I didn't, because I wasn't sure it would help.
The pro-Palestinians are so used to living in an echo chamber where their victimhood narrative is never challenged or questioned that they cannot respond to rational debate. Excellent piece.
Muslims may claim innocence of many things but the law of Moses requires that kidnappers die. If Mercenaries and Mossad wanted to kill every Muslim that kidnaps a Christian or a Jewish or a Muslim, then they should do so.
When you use law to cause harm, then you create malice. Malice does not sleep.
Women are people too. Which means all women have their own brokenness. Some women are rapists too. Some women are killers too and some women are murderers. Some women beat their husbands and their kids. Men get publicity because it is convenient to a narrative.
Whatever your narrative is try to think, does it include all people or some subset of people. You might find flaws in your narrative that way.
I am encouraged and ever more proud that I am Jewish every time I read Reuben Salsa at the JPF! I have the same experience everywhere I write a logical fact based response to accusations of genocide, ethnic cleansing and apartheid. None of which exist in Israel and if the Palestinians had accepted peace they would have the entire West Bank, all of Gaza and half of Jerusalem. It makes them absolutely insane when you mention this and even more insane a few months back when Clinton called them out on it!
I support Israel, their right to exist as the Jewish homeland. But, Israel is far from perfect. Then again, considering what is surrounding Israel, it looks pretty good. In the end, I'll stay in the US (but I reserve my right to emigrate to Israel). Shalom.
I’ve read many quotes over the years from Arabs acknowledging that Jews are indigenous to Palestine and they have a right to be there.
Admittedly most of these quotes are from more than a century ago. Once the Arabs got wind that the Jews wanted sovereignty, most wouldn’t be caught dead saying such a thing.
So what changed?
Did they suddenly wake up one day and think these “European” Jews are not indigenous to Palestine? Of course not! What changed was their realizing the Jews wanted a sovereign state, and to Arab Muslims that is anathema.
No other ethnic or religious group can ever have sovereignty in any land conquered and colonized by Arab Muslims.
When you understand this historical and psychological fact, everything else about the Israel-Palestine conflict will start to make sense.

My goodness, I can totally understand your being blocked and in all probability the conversation erased. If you want to engage in a discussion with a Pro Hamas sympathizer the last thing you do is saddle them with facts that undermines all that they believe. In their religion of hate, just debating is an act of blasphemy. To determine all you are dealing with should take one or two facts at the most.
Em, what you are seeking are people who actually have good intent and are misinformed, not Jew haters. I find your really only need one or two facts and certainly if you give those facts and they are still in that mindset etc, its just time to move on.
The two that i most employ are the following:
1. Archaeologists have discovered evidence that date Jews having lived in the area called Israel at least since 1200 BC while evidence has shown that Arabs have lived in that area since 7th century AD
2. Majority of the Jews that live in Israel are people of color
Your response to those two facts will be the litmus test of whether one should continue or close the conversation.
The legacy of Abram who became Abraham is people of faith should not fight each other. Muslims are allowed to defend themselves according to the Koran. Jesus said do unto others as you would have others do unto you. Therefore if your neighbor does violence to you, then you are able to fight back if you choose or you can let Heaven fight for you. Jews have the avenger of blood for those who murder will be found by the avenger of blood be the murderer: Jew, Muslim, Christian, or otherwise. I think idolatry of violence is common among Muslims.
