I live in Thailand. In the past six months I have met a number of Israelis. Thses guys are good hearted. Nice people. They told me that they were Israelis, they just offered it. And then they each told me that they are not racist, don’t want to hurt anyone a hate war. They told me they never want to go back to Israel. Each was visibly in pain. Each one of told me that they get very drunk everynight. These are three of their own sons that Israel has destroyed.
They’ve been offered their own state before, and they don’t want it. They want the destruction of Israel and the death of all Jews. They try to convince people that they’re innocent victims, but they aren’t. I don’t think they should be offered anything at this point.

There's just something about the Western liberal brain that rebels against it, that either can't process and face it or that refuses to (and when I say liberal, I mean it in the most expansive way, not just those "on the left").
To the Western liberal brain everyone wants what they want—democracy, markets, expressive individualism, Netflix and Prime etc—and any alternative is inconceivable.
I think this also helps explain this refusal to see things from the side of Israel. If people don't have their own state after 50ish years of failure, it MUST BE that they're oppressed by others, it certainly can't be the failures of their own political leadership and it certainly can't be that they've CHOSEN JIHAD and prefer war over prosperity.
There is a major failure of imagination here, often by people who are always crowing about their own "empathy".
I was so ignorant about the plight of the Jewish people, until I started listening to Ben Shapiro. I have learned so much. This is the first article I read from this platform. I’ll continue to read all the free ones, as I’m not able to support.

I'm torn between being constantly offended by the shit people say to me about Jews and also preferring to know what the people around me actually think.
Hot take: Maybe the overt racism we experience is our super power because it's forced us to develop strong bonds and trust within our community that has helped us survive and succeed?
While the hypocrisy and double standards are infuriating, I'd rather know where I stand with people.

As to the Palestinians, given their charter and their death cult indoctrination, they are incapable of statehood, PERIOD. In time, following their defeat and unconditional surrender, perhaps they might become civilized as in the example of Japan under General Douglas MacArthur’s brilliant rule as SAC in creating a constitutional government. Sound crazy? What is crazy, is expecting a self-governed state for the Palestinians to be somehow different THIS TIME, when they have demonstrated time and again that they are interested only in destruction. THAT IS FUCKING CRAZY!
