Three other groups "doing" peace and justice work jointly are: Standing Together, which is an activist political movement in Israel pre-67 which talks and walks equality across the board. Hebrew and Arabic are equally used (and English) with equality in leadership. Currently they are fighting against the Gaza blockade through direct action; Combatants for Peace, which was launched by IDF veterans and organizes an annual joint Memorial Day/Nakba ceremony in Jerusalem, streamed live; and the longest existing organization, proving that courage has no bounds, is The Parents Circle. This non-violent movement for joint healing of trauma, and overcoming bigotry on both sisdes, consists of Israeli and Palestinian parents on both sides who've lost children to terrorism or DF actions. Now they include sibling losses. All three of these groups have American Friends of and U.K.Australia, and New Zealand Friends of groups that raise money and sponsor speaking engagements, etc. I'm a Friend supporter of all three which are not waiting for official diplomacy to build a foundation for peace and equality.
A good start would be for Islamic scholars everywhere to repudiate:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)as saying:
The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.
Quran Chapter (98) sūrat l-bayinah (The Clear Evidence)*
(Mohsin Khan)
Not the only Quranic instance of explicit Jew hatred but definitely a major example.
It 's always valuable to consider different viewpoints. This article presents some important facts, though a numerical comparison between Jewish and Arab violence would be insightful. Over time, it's become clear that while Shabak has been highly proactive in addressing Jewish violence, there have been instances where Arab violence has gone largely unchecked. Meanwhile, within Arab communities, there seems to be less emphasis on combating violence against Jews.
Having grown up in Israel, I once strongly supported the Oslo Accords. However, through experience and reflection, my perspective has evolved. Many Israelis once believed peace with Palestinian Arabs was possible, but the events of October 7th profoundly altered that belief for many.
Additionally, I prefer the terms Judea and Samaria over the West Bank, as I believe they reflect a deeper historical perspective.
I don’t believe any longer in a two state solution “that ship has sailed” on 10/7. Non-Jihadist, peace loving Palestinians, I’m sure will be accommodated in a greater Israel where they can be citizens as the 20% of current Arab Israelis are now.
Sorry, I can't buy into your "Palestinians for Peace" shtick. For eighty years these terrorists, inspired by their manifesto, er, "Bible", have been trying to wipe Jews off the face of the earth. And, it is not just Israeli Jews they are killing, they have exported their barbaric violence throughout the globe. The peaceniks in Gaza elected their Hamas terrorists and support them still to the tune of about 80 percent. Their relatives in Judea and Samaria (West Bank) support Hamas by even larger numbers.
There can never be peace with neighbors who have sworn to kill every last Jew. Offer them their own country and they spit in your eye. I find it disgusting that you criticize Jews, who have wanted piece since the founding of modern Israel, when they play by the other side's rules. You want they should be nice and offer them a bowl of chicken soup? Maybe, boiling hot and thrown in their eyes. After October 7th, when these peaceniks went along for the killing and torture ride, blasting them to pieces is an appropriate reaction.
I’m a British Jew, and a believer in humanity .. treat people the way oneself would like to be treated.
Having said that, I must stress that my loyalty is with Israel and the Jewish people .. 100%.
Of course the suffering of those in the current war is dreadful, sad and horrific.
It is all well and good writing about the Arab individuals and moderates who wish to be living side by side, and in peace. BUT whilst the likes of Qatar play a double dealing dirty game, claiming to act as hostage negotiators whilst funding the Muslim Brotherhood & Hamas, there is no chance for peace. With Iran in the mix, always claiming they sit to destroy Israel and America, there is no way they should be allowed to keep their nuclear program. Turkey is also ‘in’ on the game with the islamists.
The UN and the likes of UNRWA, together with mainstream politics and media also need to be part of that switch .. the extreme bias against Israel is unacceptable and must be stopped.
Until there is a momentous change in the thinking of the islamists world, this intractable conflict will continue.
The ‘palestinians’ don’t want peace or their own state. The want the Jews dead and they want Eretz Yisroel all to themselves so they can loot, pillage and destroy what we built. So sad that you chose to publish such a piece of Jewish leftist self-hating trash.
I like to present all sides as long as they don’t veer into a total denouncement of Judaism and the State of Israel. I believe this article is well balanced and eventually, Israel will need to move on from the war and make peace.
Fantastic, balanced view of the situation in Israel and Gaza with hopeful insights into those working for peace.

Thank you Johnny. I think everyone needs to look into these groups as an alternative to the simple rhetoric of 'Destroy Destroy Destroy'.
Thanks Reuben I forgot we’re already in touch. ( I think I’m now a paid subscriber of JPF.)
Regardless we need CHUTZPAH Now!
Understand you don’t want to be guest on my podcasts and I’ve been writing for years - not on the Substack.
Is it kosher to co-publish?
Also had about five pieces on Jerusalem Post Blog page in 2023-2024.
I forgot to send you this link I think you’ll enjoy.

An excellent piece, which deserves a wider readership. (Restacked in the hope it might help a little.) Bravo.
But still not leading the IDF to the hostages.
There needs to be so many more of these folks and groups working for peace.
