My wife and I were blessed to go to Israel in 2009. We will never forget the ppl or the sights. We even made a point to visit Sderot. We stand with you.
Ezekiel wrote that many more incredible things are coming soon. Can’t wait.
Thx for sharing your story. I come from religious American Zionists on both sides. My mother in law was born in mandate Palestine and emigrated to the US with her family in the Depression.
I’m not Jewish and I don’t have any ties to Israel. I’ve been there for several business trips over 30 years. I’m sorry that we you have to write articles to explain why Israel is necessary for Jews, why it should exist. It’s a wonderful place full of fantastic people. I’m certain that no one denouncing Israel could have ever visited it. There’s a lot of people like me who understand and support you and we are ashamed of the ignorance of our miseducated children. I do everything I can to correct that. It’s time to choose sides.
One of my (former) friends has visited Israel and is now denouncing Israel. I have never been, but support Israel. Such a messed up world. Thank you for this comment.
Lauren, I’ll never understand where the hate comes from. The explanations for their views/opinions incomprehensibly incoherent. There’s no logic, just disdain, but I’ll never give in to any of it.
I cannot agree with any philosophy had condons the annihilation of any race. But I do condon the extermination of any philosophy or idea that worships annihilation, death and destruction.
Sorry Jen, this was Sally’s story….but…my Grandma was from Yemen and married an Indian Jew whose son traveled to London and married a daughter of a Polish Jew. Yep…its complicated!

Those who curse Israel will be cursed.

Zionism is a survival ideology for the Jewish people. And yeah. FCK HMS

Thanks for sharing my work, Reuben! And well done for all the great work you are doing here.
It's a pleasure Sally
Thank you for sharing your family's story and your thoughts. I was crying as I read. Am Yisrael chai.

Beautiful post.
My family through marriage, like Reuben’s, was also living in the desert before the Holocaust. So many amazing stories.

Oh okay! I love these stories. We need an anthology.
I was born in June 1948, so as far as I’m concerned, Israel has always existed and always will . Am Israel chai.
